You roll a d20 and add your Persuade and Personality modifier to the roll. If the total is higher than the Difficulty Check, you succeed. If it is lower, you fail.

Haggling: The difficulty check is 20. When buying, clearing this check allows you to purchase items at their true value of 100%, instead of the default value of 140%. When selling, if you clear the check, you sell your items at their true value of 100%, instead of the default value of 60%.
