Bluff

You roll a d20 and add your Bluff and Personality modifier to the roll. If the total is higher than the Difficulty Check, you succeed. If it is lower, you fail.

  • Difficulty Check 7 (Very Easy)

  • Telling a harmless fib to a child, such as pretending a coin has disappeared.

  • Difficulty Check 12 (Easy)

  • Convincing a casual acquaintance that you are knowledgeable about a common subject, like feigning expertise in a popular hobby.

  • Difficulty Check 17 (Moderate)

  • Deceiving a guard with a plausible story to gain entry into a restricted area.

  • Difficulty Check 22 (Hard)

  • Crafting a convincing portrayal of death on the battlefield, maintaining the illusion even under close scrutiny.

  • Difficulty Check 27 (Very Hard)

  • Spinning a complex and intricate lie to an experienced investigator or interrogator to divert suspicion.

  • Difficulty Check 32 (Legendary)

Crafting an elaborate deception that convinces a powerful and wise ruler to trust and support you, despite substantial evidence to the contrary.
