Cost: The caster must be at max mp. The cost is all the caster’s mp.

Mechanics: The caster instantly knows where things are in the area and how to use objects found there. As long as there was a person in the area at some point in the past that knew those things. Works in one structure or one battlefield, whichever is smaller.

Arcane Barrier

Level 4 White, Purple Spell (8)

Element: Protection, Silence

Mechanics:The caster creates a protective shield around the target. The shield has a d6 hp and receives damage for the target. The shield blocks 4 points of magical damage and is immune to poison, disease, and psychic damage. The shield lasts for 2 rounds or until it is depleted. Any damage that goes past the shields hp carries over to the caster.

Dimensional Anchor

Level 5 Purple Spell (8)

Element: Space, Silence

Mechanics: The caster creates an anchor point on a target unit, object or space, preventing creatures from teleporting or dimension-hopping within a level 4 ring of the target. It takes 1AA to attempt a seal tamper on target. The check is 12 vs seal tampering/ intelligence.

Divination

Level 3 Purple, Orange Spell (3)

Element: Time, Luck

Mechanics: The caster may ask the DM a yes or no question. If the DM doesn’t know the answer or revealing it would completely ruin the fun of the campaign, then the DM may say “The answer remains unclear.) in this case the caster gains back the cost of this spell, Otherwise the DM gives the answer truthfully to the best of their ability. If the answer is a prediction and the DM’s answer becomes incorrect the caster at that point gains 18mp and 18Mmp for the day.

Cost:9Mp, 9Mmp (doesn’t come back until the following day) at least a couple bones.

Cast time: Addition Spell

Modality: The caster consults the great spirits for information and or guidance.

Notes:The caster may spend 2BA to remove the “mechanics” section of this spell and instead give this spell a ¼ chance to give the targets 1 luck for the day in a level 2 ring.

Death Sense

Element: Time, Space, Holy

Mechanics: The user can sense the coming or lingering presence of death. If the caster cast this spell they may name up to 5 people. If any of those people die, are dead, or are about to die, the DM must tell the player if the DM is aware. Additionally the player can be warned by the DM about any deaths they see fit.

Oneiromancy

Element: Time, Holy

Mechanics: If told a dream by a NPC or other player character, the caster may cast this spell. The Dm may then use the interpretation of the dream to give the player answers, hints, or help with a problem at hand or a mystery of the past or future. Or the DM may say “The interpretation remains unclear.) in this case the caster gains back the cost of this spell. If the DM makes a prediction and the DM’s prediction becomes incorrect the caster at that point gains 18mp and 18Mmp for the day.

Mechanics:By a simple touch of the target object, the caster gets a description of who made the object, who has used the object, and even those who have in passing used the object, and what has been done with it.

Mediumship: The power to perceive and communicate with spirits.

Clairvoyant Artistry

Mechanics: The caster may go into a trance and paint a painting that may tell future or past events or otherwise aid with any problem at hand.

Prophecy Construction

Level 3 Purple, White Spell (3)

Element: Time, Holy

Mechanics: The caster may DM a brief scenario. The DM may choose to canonize those events and return as the DM from there with complete control of the scenario and use it as the caster intended or not. Or the DM may invalidate the prophecy and return as DM where they were before. The Dm may also choose to give the caster another chance after invalidating a prophecy. However in any and all cases the caster’s mp and Mmp are spent.

Blink

Level 3 Purple Spell (7)

Element: Space

Mechanics: The caster disengages and teleports equal to their movement away. This breaks line of sight and can go through non magical objects and walls.

Cast time: 1AA, 1MA

Modality: This is the original purple tower spell ever made by the 4 founders of magic, and has been very useful for many elusive mages throughout time.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to reduce this spell’s cost by 9mp outside of battle.


Phantom Step

Level 3 Purple, Yellow Spell (9)

Element: Space, Psychic

Mechanics: The caster teleports with phase equal to their movement away and deals a d10 psychic damage in a level 1 ring both on departure and arrival. Units hit by both rings only take damage from the first.

Forced Ascension

Mechanics: The caster at 6 space range, teleports the target 9 spaces straight up in the air dealing a d8 +4 fall damage if they fall the full height.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to teleport any target subdued to purple tower counters anywhere within a 2 mile radius.


Reverse Personal Gravity

Level 3 Purple Spell (7)

Element: Space, Gravity

Mechanics:6 space range. target’s gravity is reversed. They fall up instead of down and so forth. Potency 16 vs seal tampering/intelligence. (if they float up into the sky and final clear the check. They take a d4+4 fall damage for every round they failed the check.)

Galactic Halt

Level 11 Purple Spell (23)

Element: Time

Mechanics:Auto hit, Paralyze the whole battlefield. Potency 18 vs concentrate/intelligence. If one person clears it, then they all do.

Cost:33mp, 4 round cooldown

Cast time: 2AA, 2MA

Modality: The caster freezes time but the souls of those present attempt to resist the magic and can eventually shatter it and return time to its normal course.

Notes: The caster may spend 4BA to reduce this spell’s cost by 9mp and give it friendly fire.


Bend Fate

Level 9 Purple Spell (9)

Element: Time

Mechanics:interrupt, 6 space range, the caster rewinds time for the target unit. This means that the actions and events of the target unit's turn are reversed to a previous state. Then during this rewound turn, the caster gains control over the target unit's actions. This control extends to all decisions and movements made by the target during the rewound turn.

Cost:27mp, 4 round cooldown

Modality: The caster changes fate by rewriting a brief moment in time.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to reduce this spell’s cost by 9mp if the target turn would have resulted in the slaying of another unit.


Haste

Level 8 Purple Spell (12)

Element: Time

Mechanics:Caster potency of 22 vs concentrate/intelligence, 6 space range, Plus 2 accuracy, plus 2 agility, and plus 2 movement for 3 rounds.

Cost:24mp

Cast time: 1AA, 1MA

Modality: The caster speeds up time slightly for the target.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to reduce this spell’s cost by 3mp and give it 6 space range.


Walk a Mile in My Shoes

Level 4 Purple Spell (8)

Element: Space

Mechanics:6 space range, swap places with a target unit. This does not provoke free hits and can be cast through magic walls and objects.

Cost:12mp

Cast time: 1AA, 1MA

Modality: The caster trades places in space with a target unit.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to add silence immunity level 3 to this spell if the caster is silenced.


Anti-Magic Field

Level 3 Purple Spell (3)

Element: Silence

Mechanics: Can move 6 spaces each round, level 2 ring, silence, spells cannot hit anything inside the area of effect. Sense magic does not work regarding anything in the area of effect. This spell and its effects end if the upkeep cost is not paid. Also the effects of the silence end for any unit that moves outside of the area of effect.

Cast time:1AA, 1MA continuous channeling

Modality: The caster’s chants with their arms raised as a sphere of clear dark energy swirls around them. This “energy” is really the complete absence of energy and dissipates all magics within it.

Notes:The caster may spend 2BA to remove 9mp from the upkeep cost of the spell if they have not taken damage this round.


The Sound of Silence

Level 4 Purple, Yellow Spell (8)

Element: Silence, Sonic

Mechanics:level 1 cone, a d4 sonic damage and silence potency 18 vs shout/strength.

Cost:12mp

Cast time: 1AA, 1MA

Modality: The caster screams an imperceptible yet forceful sound that affects the target’s peculiarity.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to add 2 more levels of cone to this spell.


Teleport-kinesis

Level 3 Purple Spell (6)

Element: Space

Mechanics:6 space range, X+1 space knock back (where X is the caster’s intelligence mod, guided. The target unit breaks line of sight.

Cost:12mp

Cast Time:1AA, 1MA

Modality:the caster hurls the target through a short distance portal.

Notes:The caster may use 2BA to remove 9mp from the cost of this spell if the target is an ally.


Pickpocket Portal

Level 5 Purple Spell (9)

Element: Space

Mechanics:6 space range, disarm the target and teleport the disarmed item into the free hand of the caster if any instantly equipping it, otherwise teleport the item 6 spaces in any direction. (the teleported item breaks line of sight)

Cost:15mp

Cast Time:1AA, 1MA

Modality:the caster portals a target item off of a target, teleporting it 30 feet away from the target.

Notes:The caster may use 2BA to remove 9mp from the cost of this spell if the target is an ally. (Using this spell outside of battle requires a sleight of hand check to perform undetected in the same way as a normal pickpocketing check.)


Summon A Norn

Level 5 Orange, Purple Spell (9)

Element: Summon, Time

Mechanics: summon a level 3 Norn, delayed 4 rounds

Cost:15mp,

Cast time:1AA, 1MA

Modality: ^^^

Notes: the caster may spend 2BA to attempt a d4 prophecy to remove the delay from this spell and 12mp from its cost. (meaning the DM rolls a d4 and keeps it covered. If the player can guess what was rolled then the prophecy was successful and they gain the prophecy’s benefits. Otherwise the spell functions normally.)


Reflective Realm

Level 7 Purple Spell (11)

Element: Space

Mechanics:This spell auto hits and has 20 space range and can target any number of units, the targets are taken to a dimension identical to that of their own. Actions taken in this dimension have no impact on the real world, and nothing from this dimension can be brought back. To leave the dimension it requires 1AA and a seal tampering check of 22 vs seal tampering/intelligence.The caster can only target as many allies as they have enemies targeted, however they can target as many enemies as they wish. The caster is always a target of this spell. If the caster dies or leaves the dimension, so do all the targeted units. Unless the caster has actively engaged the targets for 5 or more rounds. If this is the case, then the caster may leave and the targeted units remain. If attempts to escape fail five times, targets remain in the dimension forever unless freed by the caster.

Pocket Dimension

Purple Ritual

Element: Space

Mechanics: create a 5 by 5 foot pocket dimension that only the caster and those who know the secret word can gain access to. This dimension has breathable air and a liveable temperature.

Cost:0mp

Cast time:Chanting the secret word for 10 minutes straight opens a portal to this secret dimension

Modality: the caster creates and opens a portal to a small dimension. This small space is perfect for storing items and objects.

Notes: The caster may spend 1,250 gold and a concentration/intelligence check of 22 to permanently increase the size of this pocket dimension by a level 1 ring squared. (There are tales of some powerful wizards having whole palaces within a pocket dimension.)


Teleport

Level 2 Purple Spell (2)

Element: Space

Mechanics: teleport equal to movement.

Cost:6mp

Cast time:Addition Spell

Modality: the caster teleports as a glowing mist to a new location.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to add break line of sight to the effects of this spell.


Portal Obelisk

Level 1 Blue, Red, Purple Device

Element: Enchant, Earth, Space

Mechanics: Using this obelisk allows you to teleport to any other Obelisk you have made.

Cost: A stone obelisk valued at at least 600 gold and a 17 use scroll writing/intelligence.(Devices can count as a PPU or an enchanted item slot.)

Cast time: 60 minutes

Modality:A stone obelisk attached to the earth’s ley lines. It uses these channels to swiftly teleport the user from one connected obelisk to another.


Crystal Ball

Level 1 Blue, Purple Device

Element: Enchant, Space

Mechanics:takes 1AA and 1MA and 3 enchanted item slots to use. The caster can see and hear everything as if they were standing in the spell’s area of effect. Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to up the dice roll of this spell and if the target is subdued by purple tower counters they are banished to another dimension. All of their clothes and items remain in a pile where they once stood.

Mechanics: teleport equal to movement. phase, Silence potency 16 vs shout/strength in a level 1 ring where the caster teleports from and where they teleport to.

Mechanics:6 space range, the target gains a charge they can use at any time. The charge contains this ability: the target can see how their current turn would have panned out, then choose to do it or not. (puts 5 purple counters on the target until the charge is used. Once used the ability is removed.)

Mechanics: 6 space range, create portal A, then in a different direction with the same range create portal B. If any unit or object goes through portal A they come out of portal B. If any unit or object goes through portal B they come out of portal A. The portals remain as long as the caster wishes and has room in their summoning slots. Casting this spell again removes the previous portals.(phase, and break line of sight.)

Modality: the caster creates a portal that the attack goes into then creates a portal to where they want to send the attack.
