Element: Sonic

Mechanics:The caster creates a powerful blast of sound waves, damaging (d6 sonic damage, destruction level 1) creatures and objects within a level 2 ring. The sonic shock wave knocks back enemies out of the area of effect.

Song: Grim Aria

Level 1 Black, Yellow Spell

Element: Shadow, Sonic

Mechanics: 6 space range, raises a level 3 zombie from a target corpse. As soon as the channeling stops, the zombie dies. The corpse keeps damage that was done to it while a zombie. If the damage surpasses the zombie’s hp then the corpse becomes mana burnt.

Modality: The caster plays a dramatic song which awakens a zombie who sings and dances to the tune as it fights. The combined show is sad and operatic.

Mechanics: 6 space range frenzy potency 18 vs intelligence/willpower. Frenzy forces the target to use their attack action to attack the nearest unit. if units are equal distance from the target you must random who he/she attacks.

Modality: The caster uses magic and insults to enrage the target. The Target then sees those around them as the caster.

Targeting: Personality vs Personality

Mechanics: The target is Infatuated level 2 with a potency of 22 vs Charm/Personality. Infatuate level 2: target cannot attack the caster and will protect the caster if necessary. If the caster intentionally attacks the target the effect is lost. This can only be cast on units sexually attracted to their sex, this can only be cast on humanoids.

Targeting: Personality vs Personality

Mechanics: 6 space range, daze potency 18 vs concentration/intelligence. Link level 2. This spell only jumps once a round. It jumps each following round until it ether has no target to jump to or it is cleared by the last person it jumped to. It cannot jump to target’s already under this spell’s effect.

Modality: The caster plays a confusing yet bizarrely catchy tune. The target’s thoughts are consumed by it as they relay the song.

Join the Band

Purple Ritual

Element: Space

Mechanics: Teleports the caster and all within a level 2 ring to a nearby town where music is being played.

Cost:an instrument worth at least 500 gold, not consumed, level 2 purple magus chalk.,

Cast time:30 minutes.

Modality: The caster draws a large circle around the group using the chalk, then plays the instrument for 30 minutes. During that time the chalk burns up counter clockwise.the cast makes a 22 vs Sing/personality check. If successful the group teleports to the nearest or next nearest town to a place where music is being played. If failed. Nothing happens.

Mechanics:The caster must complete a check of 27 vs persuade/personality. If they do, they can spawn any object or amount of objects with a total true value of 600 gold or less.

Modality: The caster convinces the gods to use some of their blessed power on their behalf.

Palindrome

Level 4 Yellow, Gray Spell

Element: Sonic, Manipulation

Mechanics:The Caster may cast a single target yellow tower spell for free, but they take a pure version of the spell’s effects. This spell can also be cast on a target yellow tower spell being cast within 30 feet by another. The target caster will take the effects of the spell as pure but will also get their mana restored to them. (interrupt, 6 space range, remove cost of a yellow tower spell, but the caster takes a pure version of it)

Mechanics:The Caster plays a song that conjures a forcefield the size of a level 1 ring. Unit within the ring block 6 damage from incoming ranged attacks for the round.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to add 4 to the amount of ranged damage blocked.


Gender Swap

Level 1 Brown, Gray Spell

Element: Talent, Transmutation

Mechanics:The Caster touches a willing or subdued target and changes them into a more attractive version of themselves as a different gender. This spell also removes any necrotic potencies off of the target. (tags: charm)

Cost:3mp, 1PPU

Modality: ^^^

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to cast this as a curse on any units subdued by yellow tower counters.


Banshee Breathe

Level 3 Yellow Spell

Element: Sonic

Mechanics:The Caster breathes out in a level 2 cone, a cloud that is filled with ghostly screams that deal a d6 sonic damage. The cloud lingers for one additional round after being cast.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to add another round of linger and up the damage dice roll by a d2 if cat inside a structure.


Dominate Lesser Mind

Element: Psychic

Mechanics:mind control potency 12 vs willpower/intelligence. vs units with a negative intelligence mod.

Cast time:1AA, 1MA

Modality: ^^^

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to add 9 to the potency of this spell if the target’s intelligence mod is less than the caster’s.


Dream Coil

Level 1 Yellow, Gray Spell (4)

Element: Psychic, Manipulation

Mechanics: add 2 to any magical potencies currently affecting the target and add to the effect of those potencies a d4 counters of one of the colors associated with the potencies, 6 space range. (the increasing of the potencies can not exceed 22)

Modality: ^^^

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to curse a target with an unresolved potency and subdued to any tower with a deep slumber that is nearly impossible to wake from.


Siren's Ploy

Level 1 Yellow, Black Spell (5)

Element: Psychic, Sonic, Shadow

Mechanics: Self potency of 12 vs sing/personality, level 5 ring, target’s must clear a 18 bravery/personality check or they are dazed for one round.

Modality: The caster sings a melancholy tune which causes those who hear it to become briefly lost in a stupor of despair.

Notes: The caster may spend 2BA to give this spell linger level 1.
